Is Flexscreen from Shark Tank still around in 2026? Its on-air agreement, what happened afterward, and current ordering options.

Yes. FlexScreen still offers flexible window screens, and its manufacturer website links to a retail store for custom orders. RiteScreen acquired the business in February 2025; the sale included a Chief Innovation Officer role for inventor Joe Altieri.

From window-industry problem to Shark Tank

Altieri had worked in the window industry before developing a frame that could flex into a window's screen pocket. The company's history describes early experiments with spring-steel fish tape, followed by a PVC coating that allowed the mesh to bond to the frame. Its first customer, Kensington Windows, came aboard in October 2015.

He appeared in Season 11, Episode 10 on January 5, 2020, asking for $800,000 for 6% of the company.

The cash, credit and retail-rights proposal

DWM's January 6, 2020 report describes Lori Greiner first offering $400,000 in cash and a $400,000 credit line for 10% of the company. It then reports that she matched Barbara Corcoran's proposal for 50% of the online and in-store sales rights, which Altieri accepted.

FlexScreen announced a finalized equity partnership with Greiner on October 6, 2020. That company release describes the cash and credit components but does not publish the final equity percentage or the agreement's entity structure.

Distribution and the RiteScreen acquisition

On October 27, 2020, FlexScreen announced that Saint-Gobain ADFORS would have exclusive rights to sell its products through retail and online channels.

Seller-side counsel Dinsmore later reported that RiteScreen's acquisition of FlexScreen closed on February 13, 2025. The transaction included equity in RiteScreen's parent company and an employment agreement for Altieri. The announcement did not disclose a purchase price.
