ZALT

ZALT puts electrolyte ingredients and vitamins B6 and B12 in a flavored pouch that sits between your lip and gum. You carry the pouches in a small can and use one without stirring powder into a drink. The formula contains no nicotine or caffeine, and the company says to keep drinking water normally while using it.

Why the founders chose a pouch

Dominic Gozza and Sam Mitchell wanted a convenient way to carry electrolytes during active days. On ZALT’s story page, they describe getting tired of mixing powders and carrying the bottles that went with them. Their idea was to put electrolyte ingredients in a familiar oral pouch, and they say early TikTok interest encouraged them to develop it.

The company launched in January 2026 and introduced a reformulated version in September, according to its announcement posted on BevNET. ZALT and the founders appear in ABC’s gallery for “Diary of a Shark,” which aired October 7, 2026.

What goes into the formula

ZALT’s current ingredient page lists sodium citrate, potassium citrate, B6 and B12. It also lists French sea salt, with a note that the Cool Mint version leaves it out. Other ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, natural flavor, xylitol, MCT oil and stevia leaf extract. That flavor difference matters if you’re comparing ingredient lists across the range.

The brand describes ZALT as a dietary supplement. Its nicotine-free and caffeine-free formula is a useful distinction for someone comparing oral pouches by what they contain. The company’s FAQ also says ZALT is not a smoking cessation product. A familiar pouch format shouldn’t be read as a promise that it will help someone quit nicotine.

Using it alongside water

The product directions say to place a pouch between the upper lip and gum, slightly to either side. Let it sit there rather than chewing it, drink water as normal, and remove it when you’re finished. The can has a top compartment for holding a spent pouch until you can put it in the trash.

ZALT’s FAQ says to swallow saliva normally but never swallow the pouch itself. It also makes clear that the product doesn’t replace water. The practical change is how you carry and use the supplement: the pouch comes along separately, while you continue drinking your usual water.

Choosing a flavor and ordering

The current flavor range is Strawberry Lemonade, Lemon Lime, Watermelon and Cool Mint.

Order through ZALT’s official product page. Its selectors cover flavor, pack size and order frequency. Choose the combination you want before comparing the total, particularly if you’re deciding between a one-time order and recurring deliveries. ZALT ships to the United States and Canada, according to its FAQ.
