The product was created by Lisa Lane, who came up with it after years of hauling water in buckets for cleaning and pet washing, and she later brought her son Jake into the business.

Lisa and Jake pitched Rinseroo on Shark Tank Season 16, asking for $343,000 for 5 percent of the company. Their pitch impressed Lori Greiner so much that Greiner handed them her Golden Ticket, given just once a season, and invested exactly what they asked for: $343,000 for 5 percent. Getting the full ask on Lori's terms is rare, and it signaled that she saw a clean, mass-market product she could move.

Rinseroo stood out because it is the kind of cheap, obvious-once-you-see-it fix that solves a chore almost everyone deals with. The mother-and-son dynamic made the segment likable, and the no-install design meant the product worked for renters, pet owners, and seniors alike. As of 2026 Rinseroo is still operating and selling a growing line of slip-on hose attachments for showers, tubs, sinks, and pet washing. The company has been open about facing pressure from rising tariffs on imported goods, which it manufactures overseas, but its products remain widely available through its own site and major online retailers.
