Coolbox was pitched as a reinvented toolbox that packed modern technology into a traditional storage chest. The design bundled in features like built-in USB charging ports, a Bluetooth speaker, LED lighting, a magnetic lid, a dry-erase board, a tablet stand, and even a bottle opener, aiming to be a workshop hub rather than just a place to hold tools. The product came from founders Chris Stoikos and Jason Neubauer, who marketed it heavily online before bringing it to the Tank.

On Shark Tank Season 7, Stoikos and Neubauer asked for $500,000 for 10 percent of the company. After their pitch, they struck a verbal deal with Lori Greiner, structured as a $500,000 loan with interest in exchange for 15 percent equity. The all-in-one concept and slick marketing generated interest, and on air the partnership looked like a promising fit for a product aimed at both pros and hobbyists.

Coolbox stood out mainly for its ambitious feature list and the founders' aggressive promotional style, which had already built buzz before the episode. The pitch captured the appeal of cramming smart-device conveniences into an everyday object, and at the time it felt like a fresh take on a category that rarely changes.

Despite the on-air excitement, the Coolbox story did not pan out. The deal with Lori Greiner never closed, and the company struggled to land a licensing agreement with a major manufacturer that could produce the toolbox at scale. Without that backing, the product could not sustain itself in the market.

Coolbox is no longer in business. The founders wound the company down by 2018, and there is no active official website or retail presence tied to the original product today. The packet's note that it is still selling is not accurate; the brand effectively closed years ago, so it should not be presented as currently available.
