Jeff Appelbaum walked into the Tank in Season 11, Episode 23 in the episode that aired May 13, 2020. Salted, the delivery-first restaurant service brands, pitched in the Business Services category, one of 42 business services businesses to brave the Tank across all 17 seasons.

On the carpet, the number was $500,000 for a 5% stake, which valued the company at $10M.

The sharks passed, and Salted left without a deal. That's not always the end of the story. Some of Shark Tank's most successful companies were rejected on air and grew anyway, using the exposure (the "Shark Tank effect") to drive sales the sharks missed out on.

Salted was one of 96 businesses to pitch in Season 11, where 63 deals got done. In the Business Services category overall, roughly 52% of pitches have landed a shark across the show's history.
